Das Brückenprojekt: Only the Rhine separates the German city Mannheim from the young industrial city of Ludwigshafen 24 photographers of the two agencies of VISUM and LAIF spent a day with the two cities of Mannheim and Ludwigshafen and its people, public plazas and parks, the Rhine promenade, the Industrial aesthetics in Ludwigshafen, the Mannheim national theatre and much more. The result is a double portrait of two cities from the subjective perspective of the photographers of who have put their own characters. This visual bridge between the two cities will be exhibited during the 7th Internationale Fototage.
For the 7th International photo days in Mannheim a book to the Brückenprojekt will appear. The full 128 page book presents more than 150 photographs of 24 photographers: Bernd Arnold, Christian O.
